Terms of Service
Plain English summary
Use ONYX to schedule and publish your BlueSky posts. Do not use it for spam, abuse, illegal content, or anything that breaks BlueSky's own rules. We can terminate accounts that misuse the service. We provide the service as-is, no SLA. You can cancel any time.
Acceptance
By creating an ONYX account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not sign up.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use ONYX to:
- Send spam, harassment, or abusive content
- Impersonate any person or organization
- Distribute malware or phishing links
- Publish content that violates BlueSky's community guidelines or terms
- Publish content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- Publish content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or where the content is received
- Attempt to break, exploit, or reverse-engineer the service
- Scrape, resell, or sublicense the service without written permission
- Use the service to harm minors in any way
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, email fluxhq@proton.me immediately.
Pricing and billing
The Free tier costs nothing. The Pro tier is $7 per month, billed monthly. You can cancel at any time. Cancellations stop future billing but do not refund the current billing period unless required by law. Prices may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
Content ownership
You own everything you create, schedule, and publish through ONYX. We claim no ownership of your posts. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process and transmit your content solely to provide the service (for example, to publish your scheduled post to BlueSky on your behalf).
AI generated content
The AI voice generation feature drafts posts based on your recent BlueSky activity. AI output can be wrong, misleading, or sound off-brand. You are responsible for reviewing every AI-generated draft before publishing it. We are not liable for the content of posts you choose to publish, AI-generated or otherwise.
Service availability
ONYX is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee. We do our best to keep the service running, but we depend on third-party infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase, Upstash, Render, Google) and the BlueSky API. Outages happen. We are not liable for posts that fail to publish due to infrastructure issues outside our control.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time by emailing support. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Upon termination, your scheduled posts will not publish and your data will be deleted according to the Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, ONYX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
Changes
If we update these Terms, we will note the new date at the top and email registered users about any material changes. Continued use of ONYX after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
